In March, the British author Jane Fallon revealed on Instagram that she was diagnosed with breast cancer about a month ago.
According to the media LADbible, the disease was detected at an early stage, and doctors assess that the outlook is good.
The diagnosis came after a routine mammogram shortly before Christmas. Jane Fallon had no symptoms prior to the examination.
However, during the scan, a radiographer discovered something that required further investigation. She was therefore referred for additional tests.

Further examinations
After the first scan, Jane Fallon underwent several mammograms, biopsies, and an MRI scan.
The purpose was to identify the exact area that doctors needed to examine more closely.
According to LADbible, the process has been extensive, but she is receiving treatment and has a surgery planned.
Early detection of breast cancer can be important for treatment, as the disease is often easier to treat in its early stages.
