A comprehensive study published in the scientific journal Circulation Population Health and Outcomes in August 2026 confirms the growing problem.

The researchers behind the study have looked very closely at health data from almost 1300 participants with an average age of just 23 years.
The results unfortunately show clearly that only about 21 percent of the people in the study were completely free of identifiable warning signs. Nearly eight out of ten young adults are already in the very early stages of cardiovascular kidney metabolic syndrome.
