Millions think they’re eating right – but these foods may be doing more harm than good.

Supermarkets are filled with foods claiming to be good for you. High-protein bars, plant-based ready meals, and cereals with added vitamins all seem like safe choices.

They’re marketed as healthy, convenient, and modern. But behind the colorful packaging and health buzzwords lies a very different reality.

Because many of these products contain more than just oats or lentils. They often hide ingredients the average person wouldn’t recognize or even be able to pronounce.

Top chef raises the alarm again

Norwegian celebrity chef Arne Brimi has had enough. For years, he has spoken out against what he sees as a growing food illusion.

He says consumers are being misled. And worse – many don’t even realize it.

Now, he’s repeating his warning with more urgency. According to him and several health experts, the situation is becoming critical.

The real issue is what’s hiding inside

So what is it exactly that Arne Brimi is so worried about?

Not fast food. Not candy. Not soda.

His main concern is ultra-processed foods which now dominate many people’s diets.

These are products packed with emulsifiers, artificial colors, sweeteners, stabilizers and other industrial additives.

They’re often disguised as healthy options. Think protein snacks, plant-based "meat", and low-fat breakfast cereals.

But according to health organizations, these foods can seriously increase the risk of obesity, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes.
