According to the British health authority, the NHS, adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night.

A prolonged lack of sleep can affect mood, concentration, and perception of reality.

In severe cases, sleep deprivation can contribute to psychological symptoms.

Therefore, the NHS recommends speaking with a doctor if you experience persistent sleep problems.
